April/May Photo Dump

To say I have been HORRIBLE at blogging lately is an understatement. So here is an April/May photo dump...
We bought Michael's niece and nephew a bunch of fun gift cards for Christmas and finally got around to taking them. (Rainforest cafe, Family Fun Center, Laser Quest and Subzero)

Michael needed to get in on the bumper boats action

I made Michael's sister's birthday cake from scratch and I was pretty proud of myself. It was delicious and pretty!

We attempted a family photo with the animals and it didn't go so well.

Vacation: Part Two

After an exhausting but extremely fun three days in Disney World we headed from Orlando to Miami. The drive was interesting...there were no speed limit signs and the flow of traffic was about 85/90 mph. Definitely different than Washington. Anyway we drove through Miami to meet Michael's Parents and his little brother at their hotel. We kind of just had a relaxing evening, went to dinner and then checked into our hotel for the night.

The next morning was very interesting, we had to be to the port between noon and 2 so we had a little bit of time to get some stuff done. we returned the rental car and ran a few erants. Unfortunately we were taking our time and returning the rental car was easy but getting a shuttle back to the hotel was a nightmare, me and Michael lost each other and I about lost it. It all turned out okay but it wasn't the relaxing morning I was hoping for. We eventually made it to the port of Miami and got all checked in to get on the boat.

It was so fun to finally be starting the second part of our vacation and my sister just happened to be standing right at the entrance of the boat when we walked on. I hadn't seen her for over 6 months so that was an awesome way to be greeted! we found our rooms, bought our drinks and excursions and enjoyed our day on the ship, casinos, bars, pool decks. Even though she kept telling me how small the ship was I still think it was beautiful and full of fun things to do!

The next 4 days were full of adventures, bonding, delicious food, alcohol, shopping sun and so much more.

Picture Overload headed your way...

I went on the cruise to visit my sister and honestly didn't think I was going to like it that much. I was completely wrong, I LOVE cruising! Its such a great way to visit multiple places and you don't have to figure out booking hotels, cars adventures etc. The were so many excursions we could sign up for at each port and if we didn't book an excursions each town was so different and fun. I will definitely be doing a cruise vacation again in the future.

Vacation Part One

Me and Michael planned on visiting my sister at work this year. She got a job with Royal Caribbean as a dancer on a cruise ship Port out of Miami. Fortunatly for us, Michael has a bazollion Delta airline miles so our flight was free. The cruise she is on is port out of Miami, and travels to Nassau Bahamas, Coco Cay Bahamas, Key West then back to Miami. I was sad because we were going to be traveling across the entire country for such a short cruise so I suggested we fit Disney in there as well. Michael was all for it since he also has a ton of Holiday Inn points, and free rental cars with Hertz.

We had three days in Disneyworld, then drove from Orlando to Miami to get on the boat the next days. If you haven't figured out by now I'm a HUGE Disney fan, and it had been awhile since either of us had been to DisneyWorld.

We had tons of fun, and were completely exhausted at the end of each day. I thik we fit everything in we wanted, and managed to do our favorite rides a few times each even with the Spring Break Crowds.

And here comes the traditional Disney Picture Overload...

There are plenty more but you get the idea....we had alot of fun!
