Welcome to my blog! I'm so happy your here, this is a place where I love to share everything that happens in my life. I'm new to the blogging world and I love the idea of having a public journal where others can read about my thoughts, goals, experiences, etc.
My name is Rachael (or Rachie as most everyone calls me) I am 23 years young living the in the PNW. I am a fairly recent college grad with two jobs and a crazy busy life. I am a huge goal setter and definitely know what I want, I talk a lot but have more recently discovered I'm more of an introvert. I am currently working as an accounting assistant at Johansen Excavating, and part time as a server at Red Robin. I always thought after college I would get a super high paying job, I would dress up for work, have a closet full of heels and maybe even take public transportation into the city everyday. Well I quickly discovered after graduation that that wasn't really the life I was striving for. I live about 45 min south of Seattle and going there and back every single week day plus traffic was extremely unappealing to me. Sometimes I listen to myself talk at work and I laugh a little because I NEVER thought I would work at a contracting company. I love both my jobs and I have never been afraid of hard work.
My Boyfriend Michael Is a huge part of my life. I'm not really sure when we met exactly. We went to high school together for a year but I didn't know him. I kind of remember him as a Big Kid with a head full of curly hair buts that's about it. I became closer with him my Sophomore year in college. We met again through mutual friends and starting texting for months. We officially started dating in July of 2010. He works for his family business, an HVAC company. Unfortunately most of his work is not in the state of WA...actually none of it really is. He used to Travel 3 weeks on and 1 week off but now it kind of just depends. Its really hard to be away from him, and it honestly has never gotten easier. I HATE when we have to say good-bye. But we deal with the distance and hopefully there won't be so much travel in our future.
Follow me as I grow-up and see what the rest of my twenties has in store for me!
